What we build

Two product lines.
One foundation.

Svartalfheim builds two categories of software product. Both run on the same platform. Both inherit the same infrastructure. The difference is in who they serve and where their compliance boundaries sit.

🇳🇴 Norwegian-built · European data residency · GDPR by design · Nordic market focus

The platform layer

Built on Yggdrasil. Once.

Every product we ship is built on Yggdrasil. What that means differs by product type. Platform products sit on the full stack: auth, multitenancy, billing, and EU data residency all handled at the platform level. The public product line runs on the data layer below. A shared internal standardisation layer governs how data moves and integrates, independent of auth and subscriptions.

Both tracks build on the same foundation. Neither starts from scratch.

The products

One platform. Two product lines.

GDPR-native

Platform products

Fully within the Yggdrasil compliance boundary. Authentication, multitenancy, and EU data residency are handled at the platform level, not the product level.

Open web

Public information

A separate product line and revenue stream. These products run on the platform’s internal standardisation layer, the same data infrastructure that powers the B2B products, without the auth or subscription stack above it. Public access, no login required.

Compliance architecture

Clear scope. By design.

Platform products inherit GDPR compliance and EU data residency from Yggdrasil. Compliance is part of the stack, not bolted on. Public information products sit on a different layer and serve a different purpose. They use third-party advertising networks operating under their own privacy terms and consent mechanisms.

This is not a gap in the platform’s compliance model. It is what it looks like when the same foundation powers genuinely different product types.

Something is being forged.

We’re building carefully. If you’re looking for B2B tooling for your consultancy or agency, or want to follow along as the products take shape, we’d love to hear from you.
