Svartalfheim Solutions AS was founded early 2026 with a simple conviction: if you’re going to build software products and services worth using, you need to build them on a foundation worth standing on. Too many projects are slowed down or compromised by foundational work that gets skipped, rushed, or rebuilt from scratch every time. We decided to do it once, do it properly, and build everything else on top.
The company is currently in its development phase, the founder finalizing the final stretch before transitioning to full-time in mid 2026. What’s being built now is the foundation that will make everything that follows faster, more robust, and more trustworthy.

The world tree of Norse mythology stands at the centre of all nine realms , roots deep in every world, branches reaching everywhere. Yggdrasil is our internal answer to the same idea: a shared platform layer that underlies everything Svartalfheim builds.
Yggdrasil is not a product we sell, it’s the foundation we build on. It provides the core capabilities that every service and product we create inherits from day one: authentication and authorization, multi-tenancy, audit trails, operational monitoring, and European data residency. The platform is designed so that what would normally take weeks to set up per project is already there, already tested, already compliant.
Building on Yggdrasil means we can focus on the parts that actually differentiate our products, because the infrastructure underneath is already solid.
On the horizon
Where we’re headed.
The plan is clear, even if the path is still being carved. Svartalfheim Solutions AS is building toward a portfolio of focused software products and services, all powered by the Yggdrasil platform underneath. Starting in Norway, with ambitions across the Nordics and into Europe.
In 2026, the founder moves to full-time. The platform development continues. And the first products begin to take shape. We’re not in a rush to ship something half-finished, we’re in it to build something that lasts.

Jæren Makerspace is a non-profit initiative dedicated to building community through hands-on exploration. It brings together people from all walks of life. Sharing tools, knowledge, and ideas. From 3D printers and sewing machines to circuits and code, the space supports learning, collaboration, and creative freedom. All rooted in a belief that making is better together.
